This image, found in the 1879 catalog, is a fanciful representation of the campus at Seminary Square that was probably drawn to entice students to attend Indiana University. The fact is that there was no fountain, paved sidewalks, or wrought-iron fence. Compare this image to photograph P0022545 that was photographed in 1883.
