) Andrzejewski, 1922-1994.

Biographical Note
Bogumil Witalis (
"Goosh"
) Andrzejewski, 1922-1994, was a scholar of Somali
linguistics and professor of Cushitic languages and literatures at the School of
Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He was also a recognized poet, publishing in Polish.
Arrangement
The collection remains in the order maintained by Prof. Andrzejewski, with his folder
identifications retained in each file.
Scope and Content Note
The Andrzejewski mss. II, 1950-1990, consists of poetry manuscripts, drafts and
fragments, as well as notes relating to other writings, of Somali linguistics
scholar and poet Bogumil Witalis (
"Goosh"
) Andrzejewski,
1922-1994. Some of the manuscripts are for published works, the great majority
however are unpublished.
