paparazzi comes from a character named Paparazzo in his film
La Dolce Vita.

Scope and Content Note
The collection consists of correspondence and related manuscript materials between
Italian film director Federico Fellini, 1920-1993 and
Playboy Magazine. The materials pertain to publication rights for
Wingate Paine's
Mirror of Venus, for which Fellini
provided accompanying text; a proposed article on Fellini's experiences with the
supernatural; and an early version of an interview about the film
Fellini Satyricon, which appeared in its revised form in
Playboy's May 1970 issue.
