Abstract
Wizard of Oz mss., 1938-1939, is
composed principally of drafts and revisions of the screenplay for the 1939
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie starring Judy Garland.

The Wizard of Oz was a 1939 MGM musical starring Judy Garland.
Scope and Content Note
In addition, there are outlines, a temporary set list, notes and suggestions, a
temporary schedule, dialogue continuity, a list of effects needed, memos concerning
sound synchronization, a list of people requiring costumes, tests, a mimeo of the
prompt book for the play version, a list of completed loops, and a list of some of
the actors and their means of transportation.
