Leaves 114-118 1/2 typed with red ribbon with corrections in pencil. Bound in purple quarter morocco with title and author in gold on spine label. Published in London by Jonathan Cape in 1954. Text preceded by a list of chapter titles. Extensive revisions and additions in blue and red ink throughout and on versos. Insert between 7-8 written on stationery of the Congress of the United States, House of Representatives. Bound in orange quarter morocco with title and author in gold on spine label. Published by Jonathan Cape in London in 1955. Information about its writing is given in the author's hand in the front of the Lilly printed copy. Later retitled Too Hot to Handle when published in New York by Permabooks in 1957.

Thirteen essays on cities of the world, written for the Sunday Times in 1959 and 1960. Author's notes dated 1962, Sept. 12 and 14, but crossed out. Has title and author page. Corrections in red, blue and black ink. Bound in green one-eighth morocco with green and brown stylized leaf paper covering on the boards. Published in London by Jonathan Cape in 1963.


1960, Dec.  Fleming, Ian [Lancaster], 1908-1964, author. State of excitement; impressions of Kuwait. Carbon of T.D.S. [151]leaves. 26cm.

Prefaced by typed statement signed by Ian Fleming that this is the "only bound copy"; that it did not receive the approval of the sheikhs and was thus "stillborn"; that the "copyright is the property of the Kuwait Oil Company and may not be set up in print or quoted from without written approval of the Company." Minor holograph and typed corrections and additions. Sixteen full page black and white glossy photographs. Pasteup of inside cover of coins on a maroon background with title and author handlettered in white. Bound in maroon morocco and lettered in gold.
